Czech June Inflation Rises

Czech annual inflation accelerated more than expected on higher food cost in June, the Czech Statistical Office reported Wednesday.
Inflation rose to 3.5 percent in June from 3.2 percent in May, while economists were forecasting the rate to increase to 3.3 percent.
Month-on-month, consumer prices were up 0.2 percent, in contrast to a flat level expected by economists. Prices of goods in total rose by 0.2 percent and prices of services by 0.3 percent.
